Summary:
In a parallel world to ours there is a Secret Mercenary Group Called: Mithril, they are deployed all around the world to assist in international conflicts, and they are more technological advanced than the U.S.A. Mithril employs mercenaries from all over the world to assist in the global conflicts, and one of the mercenaries’ that they have employed is Sagara Sousuke. Sagara Sousuke is one the youngest mercenaries in Mithril and is one of the main characters of the series. Mithril has tasked Sousuke with guarding Kanami Chidori, a regular high school girl but guarding her doesn’t seem to be such an easy task for Sousuke. Sousuke is socially adept and makes situations for Kanami quite difficult whilst he is guarding her (unbeknownst to her). When Sousuke and Kanami go on a school trip to Okinawa, Kanami is kidnapped by someone who Sousuke actually knows, Gauron. While Kanami has been kidnapped she is given drugs so that she could be placed in a trance where she would be able to decipher the “Black Technology”. Sousuke has to choose between saving Kanami or his fellow classmates as well. During the abduction of the Sousuke’s class he is given an new Arm Slave The Arbalest, which is equipped with Next Gen Tech called the Lambda Drive. Why is Gauron so interested in Kanami and how is she related to “Black Technology”.
Overview:
Full Metal Panic, this is one the best anime series ever made (HANDS DOWN! 😛 ). I thoroughly enjoyed this series from the first second, to the last second. The characters felt so real despite I didn’t have anything in common with them so in truth i don’t know why their characterization felt so real to me (HAHA :|) , but their characterization were well done so I’m going to have to give major props to Shoji Gatoh and Koichi Chigira (Director). Sousuke Sagara the guys the perfect socially adept character ever I swear the guy makes you laugh! Nonstop when he’s at school, but when he’s on the battlefield there isn’t anyone that comes to mind on how he handles situations at 16 (maybe Yu Ominae). Kanami Chidori, this is cutest anime female lead character I’ve ever seen NONE are close she is MAJOR CUTE!!! and the perfect foil for Sousuke when he is up to his usual warmonger rants when he’s at school. During the course of the show they grow close and it seems that they both grow quite close and it feels quite real (got to love shoji and koichi awesome work guys). All in all this is show is a definite must see even if you aren’t an anime fan I definitely recommend you see it.
